FILIPINO CHRISTIAN CHURCH

The Children's Church have a variety of activities throughout the year.  Some are described below.  Please come and join us!  For more information, contact us at fcc_children@iphfcc.org

Prayer Sunday is a time where we gather together for worship and prayer.  Matthew 21:15-16 "But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things He did and the children shouting in the temple area, 'Hosanna to the Son of David,' they were indignant.  'Do you hear what these children are saying?' they asked Him. 'Yes,' replied Jesus, 'have you never read, "From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise?"
Mission Friends is a program we have just started.  We support two children from the Philippines, Greg and Lyn, to teach the children about giving and missions.  Luke 18:22, Jesus said, "Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven."
Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) is held every summer.  It is a week long, and it is filled with mini story skits performed by the teachers and assistants, crafts, games, activities, songs, dances, memory verses, snacks, and most importantly...Jesus!  This summer, we learned about the Treasures of the Nile, and discovered that the real treasure is Jesus Christ.  "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."  Matthew 6:21.
Open House reaches out to the parents to show them what the children have been doing in Children's Church.  It also opens up the Children's Church for those who are interested in joining our ministry.
Hallelujah Night is a new event we launched on 2003.  It is an alternative to Halloween.  Like it or not, there is a spiritual world filled with God's angels and children and Satan's evil spirits.  There is also a spiritual battle.  Halloween is a time where people embrace Satan's world, sadly.  As God's children and as teachers of His Word, we are now rising up to claim back the children into the kingdom of God.  Every day is created by God, and October 31 is not an exception.  Join us in changing this nation's perspective.
Presentations are done by the children on Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and after DVBS.  We also organize Fathers' Day, Mothers' Day, and Grandparents' Day, alongside the Youth Ministry.
